Dreamythology Tarot

16 Tower
A little over a century ago, the Victorian era and it's restrictive views had an especially negative impact on women. But even today we should heed the warning signs of too much 'trying to fit in'. For example constantly expressing a 'safe' opinion rather than raising a thorny issue which might prove to be 'mind-expanding' to our own small social groups. If we don't in some way, albeit in a responsible way, 'follow our bliss', the bell tower in the town square might just be our undoing, a self-constructed dark shape in the night that crashes into our fine crystal. Sometimes this can come in the form of a lightening realization that we can no longer hold onto illusions, large or small, and still feel intrinsically like ourselves. A re-ordering is necessary on some level.
